Question

why is it that most fasted or made the siyum today (thursday)? the kitzur shulchan aruch states "mitanim bi'erev pesach afeelu chal be'erev shabbas"

Because many Rabbonim pasken not like the Kitzur. Also some pasken not to fast at all this year. CYA
