I know it is a little late to be asking this question, but the thought just occured to me that i should not be feeding my cat meat during the 9 days. I have suspended all meat meals for the time being until i can get a heter for her.

Mouse meat is for sure not part of the Minhag (custom). Is this a joke? Your cat is mourning, too. AA
