Alcoholic Beverages and Kashrut

Are the following kosher? 1. vermouth (pronounced vermooth) 2. cointreau (pronounced kwantrow) What about ordering drinks at bars? Should one be concerned about normal alcoholic drinks? What about martini's, vodka and tonic, cosmpolitan, fruity alcoholic beverages, etc.?

The issue is complex and we'll be waiting for a definitive Psak from my father. Write back in a month or so. The wine content can easily be confirmed by emailing the companies. The drinking in a bar is being looked into, as to which drinks are OK and which are not. AA
