artificial crab meat

Question

Shalom, We are planning to go to Florida for vacation in a couple of months. As we try to keep kosher, the following question came up in my family. There is something served a lot called "Southern Crab". Obviously crab is not allowed. Rather, it is expressively prohibited. However, in this case artificial crab is used, which contains mostly white fish but nor crab. Would it still be allowable under halach to eat this? b'shalom Michael
