Question
Thank you very much for this website. I am learning so much. 1. Jovya is under the khof keh, but for Pesah they are under Rabbi Sheinkopf (because they use corn syrup in the product). On the package there is an notice that liquid derivatives of kitniyot are approved by many edolim -- and now I have learnt that corn is not even kitniyot and even if it was, it is batel in this product. 2. I have read your halakhot. But how do you determine that say, plastic does not absorb, and other items do? 3. Let's say you have a fairly big supermarket (say a chain supermarket), and there is a take out section th s under Conservative hashgacha. You can't buy the meat, but let's say they make kugels (the same kugels that they package) and all the ingredients are fine. Is there a problem with buying them 4. From what age do children avoid kitniyot?

Answered by Aaron Abadi1) Thanks 2) Rabbi Abadi is a qualified Moreh Horaah. If you can disprove it, we are prepared to listen. 3) No 4) From an Halachic standpoint, Bar & Bat Mitzvah. Socially, the rules are different. AA
