BABY MONITOR / INTERCOM

Question

1) if one of the monitors is on battery mode, to enable you to carry your side with you, can i move it from room to room so i can hear the baby (whose monitor is stable - plugged in) on shabbat 2) can i adjust the volume level of sound on shabbat
