Question
Is there any way I can have a babysitter help my wife on Shabbat? Obviously I have to pay her for her time, so that is where the problem is.

Answered by Aaron AbadiHire her for a period of time that includes weekday work too, and then pay her a flat package rate for all. For example: Ask her to come Friday from an hour before Sunset, for three hours, and again Shabbat morning for three hours, and then arrange to pay her $50 for all that. Not a certain amount of Dollars per hour, but rather a flat fee. AA
