Dear Rav, I have difficulty in explaining the following when challenged. Can you clarify please? If an ingredient is batel by 1/60th, but was deliberately put in by the manufacturer, how can it be bdi`eved? Thanks, Martin

Answered by Aaron AbadiThere is no need for you to explain it. If any person requires an explanation, it is extremely clear that they never learned the Halachot of "Ain Mevatlin Issur LeChatchilah." The Halachah clearly requires the direct intentions of the one who is being Mevatel, to be deliberately doing this in order to be Mevatel an Issur. Many people like to argue with anyone that knows an ounce less than them on a particular topic. Don't fall into that trap. AA
