Berakhot

Question

I know that in Syria women didn't daven, and I assume that since they couldn't read they didn't say birkat ha-mazon either. Do you know if they said berakhot rishonot? If not, was this something that the rabbis tried to rectify?

In Israel there are still many that don't do any Mitzvot. We hope that this will be rectified at some point.... AA
