birchot hashachar

Question

i know that your are supposed to at least daven birchot hashachar before eating breakfast. is it ok to wash for hamotzie, eat a k'zayit of bread then daven brachot and afterwards eat the whole sandwich/breakfast? thankyou ao

You should pray before eating unless a person is sick or the like. AA
