Question

hi rabbi, may i rely on the chazon ish and take cholent directly from the pot without removing it from the fire on shaabos, or is this a problem of"magis" (like the mishna brurah)? Is there a difference if its a crock pot ( which is designed so as not to require stirring, therefore even if we say magis, maybe not by a crock pot)? thanks for your time, martin
