Brushing teeth on Shabbat

Question

I once read a Teshuva from the Sridei Aish that prohibited the use of the Toothpaste on Shabbos. I think most others also hold that way. Even though I would imagine that most people don't listen or the opposite. Where is the Mokor Liheter if so many Gedolim hold its Osur?
