BUGS ARE THERE

Question

Great Site you got there!! Just a slight correction, if I could. I may not know talmudm but as sure as dawn rises I know my farming protocols, toxicities and state regs. Back before my whole family and me became converts, we used to grow vegs back home in Idaho and I’ll telya there sure as hell are bugs that affect potatoes. Heck to get rid of the tarnished plant bugs, we’d use permethrin to get rid of em. We’d spray them and get rid of most of them, that stuff was good and had the shortest pr-harvest interval. After they dead most people just think there black clumps of dirt, but they ain’t. Then we’d use the carbofuran for the flea beetle. Your potatoes probably got flea beetles right now in your cupboard, because most farmers don’t fumigate well. Its kind of an art. Anyway, where can I get vegs with an OU? How do they do it? I stopped eating vegs cuz of the bug problem long ago.. Keep us posted! Ozzie and Carol

Use your knowledge, in the interim. There are brands like Bodek or Alei Katif that are bug-free. It's easy to clean lettuce, but impossible to clean broccoli. AA
