canned cherries

Question

Dear Rabbi: Thank you for making the holiday even more special with the help you provide. Dark, sweet, pitted cherries contain cherries, water, corn syrup and sugar. Is this acceptable for Pesach? Chag Sameach.

You didn't state whether you are Ashkenaz or Sefard, but either way it is kosher for Pesah. CYA
