Capt Crunch cereal

Question

There seems to be some confusion in regard to Cap't Crunch cereal for peasach . On 3/30 to Jordan you said it was "nope" in regard to Kashrut for Pesach and on 3/17 to Jack Miz you said it was OK . Please clarify this question . Thankyou for your help Respectfully Yours , CJA

The confusion is because of the oats issue. The reason my father took a stand on oats this year is because people are eating oat Matzohs, which are not kosher Matzohs for the Mitzva. They are eating at best a form of kitniyos Matzohs, which is not the mitzva. It is supposed to be from the five grains. We have backed off from saying that you can eat oats, even though my father holds it is muttar but not L'Halacha. As you have shown we missed deleting it there. BUT, the point remains that it is not good for Matzohs. Check out the FAQs for an education. CYA
