Carrying on Shabbat

Dear Rabbi Abadi, I live on Ocean Parkway and Foster Ave, Brooklyn, NY. I would like to know if I am allowed to carry on Shabbat in this area. If not, then what would be a permissable method of holding on to my apartment keys? Many Thanks, Heather [email hidden]

Get a quality combination door-lock from your local locksmith. We will not approve of any Eiruv around public streets that are in cities or towns, and open to the other streets and cities. AA
