celiac
Question
We just found out that some of our children have celiac. Would it be safe to say that anything on the kosher for Pesach list, is safe for a celiac person to eat the rest of the year? Thank You
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiNot really. www.celiac.com is a good resource. From a Pesach standpoint we can eat something that has a trace of wheat, if less than 1/60th. 95% or more of our stuff is 100% Gluten-Free. Feel free to ask us, and we'll be glad to assist. For Matzah, it does not help to use Oats. Even Spelt and Rye we don't know for sure are of the 5 grains. They can eat spelt Matzot just in case, but without making Hamotzie and Al Achilat Matzah on it. If they cannot eat Matzah for serious health issues, they are not required to eat it. AA
