Chewing Gum

Question

Am I able to eat bubble gum that does not have a hech sher like Wrigley's,extra or orbit? If no why is it any different than mouthwash or toothpaste? I have been doing research on this topic and if you can please direct me to some Maareh-Mekommos. That can further explore the issue.

Those 3 flavors that you picked are ok to eat. However, gum is different than toothpaste, in that you want to swallow/taste the sugary,flavored taste, which is not your point in brushing CYA
