chic peas

Question

why is there so much confusion over chic peas. If they are not Hametz then what's the problem? Some people just say, "but we never had chic peas, or any other kind of dried beans". Some rabbis say if you use, use dried chic peas only, just check them. I'm so confused. How do we get everyone together on this issue?

Some do today what we did yesterday, yet follow an evolution. Chick Peas are fine. Forget about the others AA
