chick peas

fyi, some sefardim have a minhag not to eat chick peas on pesah because choumos sounds like chamets. please don't ridicule this.

Why not?! If it is ridiculous, why not ridicule it? Our silly additives to our religion embarass us and cause our children not to believe in the true stuff. AA
