chillul Hashem

Question

Rabbi, I was just wondering? We as observent Jews, leave early on friday and erev chags with plenty of time to spare.On the Biggest holiday of the goyim X-Mas, we only let them go one hour early?? They most definitly have ill thoughts!!!!Is this a chilol Hashem.

Whatever is the standard in society is acceptable and certainly not a Chillul anything.... If the agreement when hiring them, was to work on X-mas, then go right ahead. We should all avoid Chilul Hashem by paying our bills in a timely manner. AA
