May a smoke a cigar on yom tov? If yes what about after the afikomen?

My father told me to tell anyone who asks about smoking that it is assur to smoke and if you can't stop, get a Doctor's help. CYA My doctor told me that there is nothing wrong with a cigar once in a while.
