CLARITIN- DAIRY?

Question

Dear Rabbi, One of the ingredients listed in Claritin(allergy medicine) is lactose monohydrate- which is derived from milk sugar. Does this mean a person would not be able to take Clartin pills within six hours of eating meat? If a person would not have to be so extreme, should he at least try to avoid taking Claritin with a meat meal? Thank You Aryeh Leib Perles
