Question

I live out of town. In this month's Image Magazine I saw an ad for OU certified clothing for women. Is this really happening in NY? Is there community pressure on women to only buy clothing with a hechsher (it sounds a little absurd doesn't it?)? Is the OU hiring shmatta mashgichim? Can we trust our ladies and girls to look in the mirror and decide for themselves if they should wear a particular garment or not anymore or will these laws no longer be taught?

Instead of a "Jordache" label, it's going to be the "OU" label this spring. Hurry to the stores, before you're too late. AA
