Company

Question

If a company runs 24 hours a day, why do we still rely on the principle of stam kelim. If there was every something treif it would continue to trief everything else, since there is no 24 hour period to make the taste pagum.

The concept of Stam Keilim isn't a confirmation that we assume it went 24hours, but rather that we assume it is Pagum. Most items are Pagum in less than 24 hours. If we know when it was used, we are required to wait the full 24 hours. In regards to packaged products... Did you ever eat one product and taste the flavor of another product? You eat mars bar and you taste Milky Way? Isn't the Halachah of Taaruvot dependant on TASTE? If we know that there is no taste, we are done. We don't need 60, we don't need a Kefeila, and we don't need Pagum. Why is it that basic Halachah is forgotten and we just follow to the letter whatever propoganda is fed to us?! Does anyone still use a Shulchan Aruch anymore? Hello?! AA
