Conservative

Question

One must distinguish between what many Conservative Jews do and what Conservative Judaism, as an ideology, teaches. There are Jews who call themselves "Orthodox" but, as you so often point out, they are not following halakha. So too with Conservative Jews. Conservative Judaism looks at the history of halakha differently than Orthodoxy. It does not, however, simply abandon the Torah or halakha.
