I have just recently become observant but have no one in my family to help answer questions. 1. Can corian counter tops be koshered? I have been considering them treif and covering them before setting hot food on them. 2. paremesan cheese "flavor" Dairy or Parve?bought a salad dressing marked OU. Went back to the store and found the same dressing now marked OU-D. no number to call. Thank you so much for your time.

1) Just clean them well. 2) If that is the only dairy ingredient, it's Pareve. If it was real cheese, it would say Parmesan Cheese. The "flavor" is a company's little trick for you to think it's loaded with cheese. Keep in mind, being Observant means keeping all the rules to the letter. This is the long-term goal. Take it step-by-step, but that's the direction. Don't allow distractions to get in the way. Don't be mislead by all the quick spiritual fixes being peddled in our culture. These are just distractions. The true road is long and hard; it lasts a lifetime & will never let up. You'll have bad days, and you pick yourself up and keep on trucking. You stick to it and your reward will be eternal. If it were easy, the reward would be meaningless. Good luck! AA
