Question

dear rabbi abbadi i read that corn is no longer kitniot. could breifly explain why. thank you and have a chag kasher vesamaiach

It was not around in the time & place of the Minhag's origin and was thus never included. To add restrictions would be a violation of the same sin as Chava (Eve), "Kol Hamosif Gorai'ah." AA
