Corner empty

Question

why don't we leave a corner of the house empty in memory of hte destruction of the Temple. Isn't this a halakhah in the Shulhan Arukh?

They used to put special "Sid" and create beautiful designs. This is where the requirement exists. A regularly painted or wallpapered wall does not apply. Look it up, it's right after Laws of Tishah Be'Av in Shulchan Aruch. AA
