covering hair

Question

Is the reason why women cover their hair because the hair grows fast and thats what causes it to be not tziniut? Because a person has no control over it , as apposed to a wig that as much as you water it, it won't grow !? If I'm wrong please can you give me a clear reason as to why a women is to cover her hair? I didn't get a satisfying answer when I read the past post under this topic. THANX SO MUCH!!

The reason is because the Torah says we must. As simple as that. What is the reason that you keep Shabbat or any other Laws in the Torah? Because the Torah says to, and the Torah was given to us by God as a book that we must follow. AA
