Does Philadelphia cream cheese OU-D have to have a heksher to be kosher for Pesach? I asked: Is temptee cream cheese OU-D, Kosher for Pesach okay to have on Pesach? Thanks for all your help and for answering all of our questions. You replied: I wonder if they're kosher all year. Are they Gevinat Yisrael??? How would I know? Can one trust the O-K or OU for cream cheeses? Do we need to buy Cholov Yisroel cheeses only? I am asking so that I can learn to do things the right way. Thank you for all you do for all of us. The O-K gives hechsher for Philadelphia all year round and the OU gives hechsher for Temptee all year round and for Passover.
