Cream Cheese

Question

Being the cream cheese needs to be gvinat yisrael, I spoke to the OK about Philadelphia Cream Cheese to see if it is. They told me all year long it is not, but for Pesach the have a mashgiach tmidi in the place for about 2 months. Would that be permisslbe to eat? If not, why? Thank you, Shmuel

Let's talk to that Mashgiach and find out what he is watching. The OK doesn't require a Mashgiach to watch the cheese, but rather to look out for Chametz. AA
