Does a crock pot need a "blech" (a aluminum foil) on the dial? thanks again Marc

In a situation where a crock pot needs a blech, a foil on the knob does not help. The correct thing to do is, roll three separate pieces of silver foil into balls. Place them below the pot. The pot will stick up a bit but will still cook no problem. This way you can add hot water. CYA
