Crockpot and Lens Solution

Hi Rabbi Abadi I have 2 questions regarding hilchot shabbat: 1) What are the guidelines for serving cholent from a crockpot friday night, and still having it in the crockpot for shabbos day? 2) Is the use of lens solution and case permissable (the kind that bubbles and needs a six hour waiting period) ? thank you.

1. you can take directly from the crockpot at night when it is cooked without picking it up and then again in the morning. 2. lens solution-I'm lost 6 hours-bubbles-what? YA
