derech halimud

it would be owesome if you can get your father to write on derech halimud in vol.#2. we're always saying the way today is incorrect. but we never really discussed exactly what the real way is. like at what age to learn what and how. how one is to review what has been learnt. and how to learn the reshonim, how to get to halachah. how much time to spend on tanach every day. i'm very unclear on this topic and so are my friends. we are really seeking the truth here. if you could please do this for us, thanks
