Question

Dear Rabbi Abadi, Does this rule of dina demalchusah dina apply to all cases, or just monetary issues? Namely, does one have to obey traffic laws and drive with a license, etc? I clearly don't suggest nor do I expect you to condone these actions, but I just want to know if breaking the speed limit or driving when you're not supposed to, outside of any medical risks, is prohibited, lehalacha.

Good Question. certainly it applies to Monetary Laws, but most other laws are required too. For example, laws like Traffic rules are a part of a working society. You cannot have a functioning society without it. AA
