dishwasher

Question

I have been reading about the issue of dishwashers and mixing dishes. Is it correct to assume that I can use a plastic lined dishwasher, with soap, for my dairy utensils and then later for my meat utensils? I have only been using it for the glass dishes etc, as the prior occupants were non-jews.
