Dishwasher

Question

I just moved and am renting a house. It has a dishwasher with a plastic inside also there are racks and a plastic silverware basket. I do not think the prior tenant was jewish - they probably had treif food. What do I need to do to be able to use the dishwasher? Thank you Shabbat shalom
