dishwasher, over, toaster oven

Question

i am renting an apt from a gentile. to kasher the oven do i have to do more than self clean it one time? may i line the toaster over with silver foil and that be good enough? may i use the dishwasher? none of the above3 items are new and they have certainly been used by a non jew in the past.

Ovens that are clean don't even need self-cleaning. If you use the actual oven shelf or tray, like by a toaster oven, then put it on its higest for 30 min or so, long enough to burn out any food &/or flavor. Dishwasher needs nothing, just use it. AA
