Doctor's

Question

Whar is the source for your statement that if the doctor's have given up hope that you should no longer pray for the sick person, and it is a false prayer? Just becaue the doctor's have given up home, that doesn't mean they are correct. Certainly God can heal. This isn't like praying for a son when your wife is already pregnant.

It's a Mishnah in Berachot, as far as I can remember. If you can't find it, I'll get you an address. Yes, God can heal & even bring back to life, but there comes a point when we are supposed to hold all prayers. AA
