Question

"If a person is safe where he is or has a safe place to go (ie. hotel, rest area) nearby he can't go anywhere once it is 25 minutes after sunset." Is this psak different then the psak u (or Rav Gissenger) gave us on friday that its better to get a goy to drive u to a place where u can keep shabbos normally then to spend it by urself w/ no food/ shul etc..? Thanks.

Start from the beginning of the story. I'm lost AA Sorry, the question was really adressed to your brother.On friday, we were in a similar situation and we called your brother who then called Rav Gissinger and we were told that better to have a goy drive us to the hotel we were supposed to stay where we could spend shabbos normally, then to pull over to some local motel w/o food, minyan etc.... Were we given the wrong psak? Did we misunderstand and it only applied for the 1st 25 minutes? Or am I missing something here? Thanks.
