Question

Ingredients: sugar, vegetable shortening(partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil), water, corn syrup, dutched cocoa (processed with alkali), contains two percent or less of: citric acid, cornstarch, mono and diglycerides, natural and articficial flavor, polysorbate 60, potassium sorbate(to preserve flavor), salt, sodium acid pyrophoshate and sodium citrate. It does have an ou-d on i? maybe the container is made out of dairy?

Some Duncan Hines frostings do have a flavoring which is identified as milk (as per FDA regulations). You will see in bold "contains milk" The list you wrote does not, so it is pareve and Kosher for Pesah. CYA
