Electricity on the Holiday

Question

I read a previous post on this site explaining that turning an electronic oven on and off is permitted on the holiday, Does that mean that turning on/off an electrocnic Air-conditioner is also permitted? I appologize in advance if I mis-read the previous answer. Thank You.
