Electronic Doors on Shabbat

Dear Rabbi Abadi I will be vacationing in Miami next week and was wondering if there is a problem using the hotel electronic key on Shabbat. Hopefully not, but if there is, what is the remedy?

Thru a non-Jew it is permitted. I don't know about a Jew doing it. AA
