epshur lavruri

Question

Aaron: Shana tova; thank you for the birchonim, they are beautiful and I will enjoy using them with my family. Can you explain the term "epshur lavruri" - it was cited to me in a discussion with the local va'ad about Krispy Kreme donuts, but would apply to many other instances as well? I understand the literal meaning, but I wanted to know why this would not apply to products baked or prepared from kosher ingredients commercially. Thanks and Kol Tuv!
