LICHVOD HARAV WHY IS IT THAT THE FISH WE EAT MUST HAVE HINS AND SCALES. IS IT HALACHA LEMOSHE MSINAI OR IS THERE ANY OTHER KIND OF EXPLANATION FOR THIS?

That what it says in the Torah in Parshas Shimini. The fish must have Fins and scales. CYA
