CAN I BUY FISH FROM A NON JEWISH FISH STORE,I KNOW YOU MIGHT SAY IF I SEE FINS & SCALES .BUT CAN I SOMECH THAT THEY DO NOT SWITCH THANK YOU

If the fins & scales are attached to the fish, it's obviously OK, unless when you go fishing you look for an OU. If it is filleted before you get there, if you can recognize the fish, like salmon, it's fine. If you cannot be sure, then you need to be carefull. If it is a relatively inexpensive and available fish, it's OK, because there is no benefit to fool you & replace with a non-kosher fish. AA
