Flavored Beer

Question

Kavod Harav, I was always told that all beer is excepted as kosher with out a hechsher ( except from china), but i was wondering first of all is that true and second what about flavored beers i.e. honey flavored? also if it does need a hechsher, would you know if JW DUNDEES HONEY BROWN LAGER is acceptable? Drinks don't have animal fat in them. Nor do they have cheese. The main thing you worry about on the normal drinks is wine. The wine must be more than 1/6th of the total drink. These Beers would thus not be a problem. AA
