Flavors
Question
Can you explain when the principle of Taam ke-Ikar applies. In other words, if a non-kosher taste is noticeable in the product does this mean that the food is non-kosher, or is it only some specific tastes that it applies to? Also, do you need to be able to recognize the individual taste, but if a group of flavors are mixed together, with non-kosher ones in the mix but not identifiable, then it is OK? Thank you
