French Fries

Question

So in theory if you could confirm that the local Burger King fried the french fries away from the chicken would it be permissible? Or perhaps would we say that there is a problem of marit ayin (another concept which I'm sure many would be grateful for your clarify)? I realize that even if you think the answer is that the french fries are kosher, you might still say no, so that we all don't start running out to eat there, and you become tagged as the rabbi who permitted Burger King!
